I kept seeing Katie Pedersen’s value quilts all over Pinterest, and the design continually popped into my mind at random moments. I was a little intimidated at choosing a fabrics with enough contrast to make her value design, so I thought I’d start with something a little more foolproof than the contrasting prints.
I picked out some Kona Parchment for the contrasting part of the HST.
And a little Ikea fabric for the back.
Yesterday I put this in the mail to two of my closest friends from college who will deliver their second baby any day now. They chose not to find out their baby’s gender ahead of time, and I think Kate Spain’s Fandango has pretty colors that walk the line between boy-girl and aren’t too baby-ish.
