Sarah was inspired by this quilt and asked us hive mates to create a block that read like one color.
Sarah mentioned that one of her favorite designers is Laurie Wisbrun, so I quickly asked for purple. She wanted to mail me a square of the V and Co flowers, but since I had it in my stash, I was able slip it in and finish the block a little early.
Simple patchwork seems to keep popping up in my sewing, and I’m loving how easy it is to feature fun prints with simple squares. Those little yellow birds make such a cute accent!
And who can resist that sweet bee?
I Spy a fun quilt in Sarah’s future!
