Will you forgive me for a super quick post?

Clamshell and Dogwood Quilting

There’s a better story in my previous post on this quilt.

Clamshell and Dogwood Quilting back

I’m in the middle of a really exciting paper piecing project.

And I had a few challenges while trying to get pictures of this quilt.

So I rushed the pictures. I’m rushing the blog post. I’m going to have to guess at it’s size for my quilt stats… Sheesh, I’m a terrible blogger tonight! But have I mentioned that my paper piecing project is really exciting? It’s not more mariners compasses, but it IS nautical. More soon! Cheers!

Quilt Stats:
Size: 50 x 60″
Fabric: Pure Elements Light Gray, a white from my stash, a charm pack of Victorian Modern by Modern Quilt Studio (aka Weeks Ringle and Bill Kerr)
Backing: Old green fleece sleeping bag
Binding: An out of print scripty fabric by Basic Grey for Moda
Quilting: done on a long arm machine by me

Linking up with crazymomquilts and the other Friday Finishes!

Beautiful!! No need for forgiveness for a quick post, sometimes quilts speak for themselves 🙂 Love that you used an old fleece sleeping bag for the backing! It looks fabulous!
