This post will be written with the quick scroller in mind. Head to the end of the post to find winners of the Fat Quarter jelly roll and my new Luna Moth paper piecing pattern!

I’ve been quiet here on the blog but a busy beaver in my sewing space. I matched some wicked awesome points.

I got a tiny burn to match the bigger burn above. Who needs sewing tattoos when you can just collect iron burns?
(Mom, that’s sarcastic. I know you read my blog occasionally. 😉 )

I did some thread cutting on a quilt top which I sheepishly admit that I almost never do.

Thread Clipping

I did a little quilt binding with my not-so-attentive quality control technician nearby.

And at the end of a frantic month, I ended up with three entries to QuiltCon 2016 in Pasadena, CA. You’ve seen one, and I’ll share the other two later this month. They’re a little under-quilted, but I’m super proud. Especially of those points… I do love paper piecing.

Quilt Stack

Now, it’s time to say goodbye to the chaos and put my sewing space back in order. As I’ve pulled fabrics for bee blocks and quilts, much of it hasn’t gone back into it’s color-order space. I’m remedying that today and tomorrow. I’d rather be sewing, but them’s the breaks.

Do bloggers still use I think everyone’s switched to Rafflecopter, and I suppose I’ll figure that out later. For now, Emilee! You’re a winner of a Fat Quarter Shop jelly roll of your choice!

As for my Luna Moth Pattern Giveaway, everyone is a winner! Yep. I think I’ll just share that pattern with the 15 of you who were super excited about it. I’ll take a me a little bit to go through and email all of you, but you’re waist deep in Christmas sewing right? I expect to see some Luna Moths in the New Year!

P.S. Lisa Marie and Yvonne – I think you two had fabulous fireworks stories.  I love that fireworks play a special role in memorable moments with your sweethearts!

  1. Emilee

Merry Christmas to me! So excited to have won!! Thanks! (And the quilts look beautiful! Can’t wait to see them in all their glory!)

  2. Yvonne @Quilting Jetgirl

I have a huge iron burn on my left inner bicep. Those are not fun to collect, sorry you recently added to your collection. I very, very rarely clip threads on a quilt top prior to basting and quilting. I think I’ve done it once in the past 2 years…
