I’ve fallen in love with the speed and ease of a quick Instagram photograph. I enjoy scrolling through images there, and I appreciate the quick feedback that happens when you post a question. But there’s something about posting projects here on the blog that is still a priority to me. I like having a lasting record of what I’ve made, or what I’ve helped make.
This is a quilt that needs a record. I started Little Tents way back in March of last year when I asked my Love Circle mates of do. Good Stitches to send me improv triangle blocks in yellow, light blue, and navy. Since then, I took the finished top to Sewtopia in Portland where I sewed a backing and did my first ever (non practice) free motion quilting. I bound it and put a sleeve on it, so it could then travel to Pasadena for QuiltCon West 2016, and now it is back with me until I send it one last time to a forever home for a small child with Wrap them in Love.
Here is the very scrappy back.
I’m a little late in posting May’s blocks, but once I get those on here, I’ll be all caught up with the do. Good Stitches responsibilities – and July is my month to design again!
